The complete guide to cruise parking at Southampton

Southampton is the busiest cruise port in the UK, and getting your car sorted is the one bit of the trip people leave to the last minute. Here is everything you need to know.

The two ways to park

There are two sensible ways to leave your car with us. Meet & Greet is the simplest: you drive to the terminal, we meet you in the short-stay car park, take your keys, and you walk straight to check-in. Park & Ride is the lower-cost option: you park at our secure compound and we shuttle you the short distance to the terminal.

Both use the same CCTV-monitored compound and the same insurance. The only real difference is whether you want the shortest possible walk or the lower price.

Which terminal are you sailing from?

Southampton has five cruise terminals: Mayflower, Horizon, City, Ocean and QEII. Your cruise line tells you which one when you book. We cover all five, so you do not need to pick a different car park depending on your ship. If you are not sure, our terminal guides list which ships use which berths.

Timing your arrival

Southampton traffic can be unpredictable, especially on a Saturday changeover day. We recommend adding an hour to your estimated travel time. Arrive within your booked slot, look for our blue and white flag, and the handover takes a couple of minutes.

What it costs

Prices are the same across all five terminals and depend on your dates and the service you choose. The quickest way to see your price is to get a quote, which takes about two minutes.

Booking direct

Booking direct with us means one point of contact if anything changes. No marketplace in the middle, no being routed to whichever operator has space. If your plans change, you talk to us.
