Western Docks
Mayflower, Horizon, City. The grouping on the west side of the Port of Southampton, closest to the city centre. Most P&O, Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity sailings depart from here.
Eastern Docks
Ocean, QEII. The grouping on the east side, closer to Ocean Village. Many P&O Iona / Arvia / Britannia / Cunard Queen Anne / Queen Mary 2 sailings depart from here.

What "secure" actually means at our compound
Three things you will hear from any cruise parking operator: CCTV, gated, insured. The shape of the words is the same. The details are not. Here is exactly what we mean when we say secure parking at Southampton Port.
Body-cam handover, both ways
Every key handover is filmed on a body-cam by the driver who takes the car. Mileage, fuel, existing marks, and your registration are recorded into the same clip. On return the same driver does the same walk-around with the camera on so any disagreement is settled by footage, not memory.
Gated compound, overnight lockdown
Our compound is a fenced, gated site. CCTV-monitored throughout the day. Locked down overnight while you are at sea, with no traffic in or out outside of staffed hours. Cars are parked in numbered bays against a key log tied to your booking reference.
£2m public liability for the full cruise window
Cover is not a "while we drive your car" policy. It runs continuously from the moment we take the keys at the terminal to the moment we hand them back, including every night your car sits in the compound. That is the difference between a cruise parking operator and an overnight airport drop.

Which Port of Southampton terminal does your cruise use?
Your cruise line confirms the terminal in your booking documents, usually 2 to 4 weeks before sailing. Here is the rough mapping we see most often. Always double-check with your line because terminal allocations move ship by ship.
Western Docks
- Mayflower: P&O smaller ships (Aurora, Ventura), Cunard Queen Victoria, smaller Royal Caribbean ships, MSC turnaround sailings, some Princess departures.
- Horizon: Newer turnaround terminal used flexibly. Princess, Celebrity, Norwegian and Cunard sailings often allocated here on busy days.
- City: The original Southampton cruise terminal. Smaller and specialist sailings: Saga, Fred Olsen, Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, Viking Ocean.
Eastern Docks
- Ocean: Built for the largest ships at the port. Cunard Queen Mary 2, Cunard Queen Anne, P&O Iona, P&O Arvia, P&O Britannia, Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas, Disney departures.
- QEII: Capacity overflow and large ships when Ocean is taken. P&O Aurora and Britannia rotations, Royal Caribbean's larger sailings, MSC ships visiting Southampton.

What to expect on the morning of your Southampton Port cruise

The night before
We email a final reminder with your booking reference, which terminal to come to, and our driver's number for anything urgent. Set off with enough buffer for Southampton traffic, which can be punishing on Saturday cruise mornings.
Arrival at the port

We track the inbound time of your ship. Your car is at the same drop point, waiting for you when you step off.
