Why QEII suits Cunard
QEII Terminal, named after the original Queen Elizabeth II ocean liner, is at the southern end of Southampton's dock system. It's part of the Old Docks and handles a mix of Cunard sailings as its main user, with occasional Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Silversea and P&O ships.
Access is the same as Ocean Terminal: A33 via Platform Road through Dock Gate 4. Southampton Central station is about two miles away; a taxi is easier if you're arriving by train with luggage. We meet you in the short-stay car park, 20 yards from the ship, and your car is back there for your return.
Queen Mary 2, Queen Anne, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth all call Southampton home. Whichever Queen you are sailing on, we take your car at the terminal and have it waiting when you step back ashore.
For your Cunard sailing, Meet & Greet drops you 20 yards from the QEII gangway, through Dock Gate 4, which suits anyone with heavy luggage or guests on a tight pre-board schedule. Your car spends the cruise behind locked gates in our private compound.

Drive to QEII Cruise Terminal through Dock Gate 4 and pull into the short-stay car park in front of the terminal. Our driver checks the car over with you on body cam and takes the keys, 20 yards from the ship. We drive it to our secure CCTV compound 1.5 miles away, about five minutes from the port. When you dock it is back at QEII, ready for your return.
Yes. Premier Inn Southampton City Centre and Holiday Inn Southampton Eastleigh M3 are within reasonable walking distance of QEII Cruise Terminal. We can take the car from the hotel forecourt if you prefer.
