Viking parking at City Cruise Terminal.
Viking occasionally calls at City Cruise Terminal, and we are at the gangway whenever they do. We meet you 20 yards from the gangway at the short-stay car park, take your car, and have it back the moment you dock. Same drivers, same CCTV compound, same £2m insurance for every line we cover.
Why City suits Viking
City Cruise Terminal is in the middle of the five Southampton cruise terminals by position, at Berth 101 in the Western Docks. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity regularly use it, with Anthem of the Seas and other Quantum-class ships among the frequent visitors.
The Voco Southampton (formerly Holiday Inn) and Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour are both within a reasonable walking distance, making City the most hotel-friendly of the five for guests arriving the night before. Access is from A33 / West Quay Road through Dock Gate 10.
Viking sails its ocean ships from Southampton across the season. We park for them with a short, calm handover at the terminal.
For your Viking sailing, the choice comes down to how short you want the walk. Meet & Greet drops you 20 yards from the City gangway, through Dock Gate 10, and is the quickest option for anyone with heavy luggage or guests on a tight pre-board schedule. Park & Ride costs less and shuttles you in from our compound, about 10 minutes away. Either way, your car spends the cruise behind locked gates in our private compound.
