About Ocean Cruise Terminal

Ocean Cruise Terminal sits on the eastern docks at the junction of the Rivers Test and Itchen. It handles two ships at once across Berths 46 and 47, and regularly hosts the biggest P&O ships — Arvia, Iona, Britannia — as well as Cunard and Royal Caribbean visits.

Access is from the A33 (Platform Road) through Dock Gate 4. Southampton Central station is around two miles away. We meet you in the short-stay car park, right in front of the gangway — no detour, no queueing at a pay-and-display barrier. For longer cruises, our Park & Ride shuttles you in from our own compound 1.5 miles from the port.

When you arrive

  1. Drive into Southampton via the M27, then take the A33 (Platform Road) into the Eastern Docks towards the docks. Follow the brown tourist signs for Dock Gate 4.
  2. At the gate, the security guard will ask which cruise terminal you are sailing from. Tell them Ocean Cruise Terminal.
  3. Pull into the short-stay car park directly in front of the terminal. Our team will spot the Cruise Azure blue flag on your dashboard and come straight to you.
  4. We check the car over on body cam, take your keys, and hand you a slot card with your slot number and your return time. Keep it safe. You will show it on the way back.
  5. Walk through the terminal, hand your luggage to the porters, and have a wonderful cruise. We will look after the car until you are back.

On return
