How the Cruise Azure returning customer discount code works, including the one-year validity and email-matching rule.

We give returning customers a discount code after their first booking. The code is valid for one year and applies to the customer's next booking under the same email address. This page covers how it works in practice, what it does, and what it does not.

The basics

Book your first cruise parking with us. After the booking is complete, you receive a discount code by email. The code is valid for one year from issue and applies to your next booking with us.

The code is tied to your email address. You use it by entering it at checkout for your next booking, using the same email.

The code is a real discount off the published rate, not a price-match against a higher inflated headline.

How the code is issued

The code is generated automatically after your first booking is completed. You receive it by email, usually within a few hours of the booking confirmation.

If the code does not appear, check the spam folder. If still not there, email bookings@cruiseazureparking.com with your booking reference and we will resend.

How to use the code

When you book your next cruise parking:

  • Use the same email address as your first booking.
  • Enter the discount code at the appropriate step in the booking flow.
  • The discount applies to the published rate before card details.

The booking confirmation shows the discount applied as a line item, so you can see exactly what was saved.

What the discount applies to

The discount applies to the parking service (Meet & Greet or Park & Ride). It applies before any add-on costs are added (luggage assistance, EV charging, valet cleaning, etc.).

If your booking is partially refundable later (e.g., a downgrade from Meet & Greet to Park & Ride), the discount remains attached to the booking. The refund calculation accounts for it.

Validity

The code is valid for one year from the date of issue. After one year, the code expires and cannot be used.

The cruise itself does not need to be within the one-year window. Booking the cruise within the year is what matters; the cruise can be a few months after.

What the code does not do

A few honest limits.

The code is one per customer, not one per booking. After using the code on your second booking, you do not automatically receive a new one. We may issue additional codes for milestone bookings (third, fifth, etc.), but the formal program is one code per customer for now.

The code is not transferable. You cannot share the code with a friend or family member for their first booking.

The code is not stackable with other promotions or offers if we are running them. The discount that applies is the better of the two.

The code does not apply to past bookings retroactively. If you book before receiving the code, the standard rate is what applies.

What if I forget the code

Email bookings@cruiseazureparking.com with the email address on your account. We can re-issue the code or apply it to a current booking that has not been paid yet.

What if the email address changes

If you book your first cruise with one email and want to book your next with a different email (e.g., personal vs work), let us know. We can link the records and ensure the code applies.

The link is to the customer record, not the email address strictly. We can move it across.

What returning customers usually do

Most customers who book once book again. The cruise market is dominated by returning cruise customers (people who go on multiple cruises across the years).

The pattern we see:

  • First booking: usually Meet & Greet for the convenience.
  • Second booking and onwards: roughly even split between Meet & Greet and Park & Ride. Customers who liked the first experience often stay on Meet & Greet. Customers who tried Meet & Greet and decided the shuttle option suits them switch to Park & Ride for the price.

The returning-customer code applies to both services.

What about the price comparison

Our pricing is already published flat at a rate that beats most competitors' post-discount prices on a like-for-like comparison. The returning-customer code is on top of that.

A returning customer on their second booking with us is paying less than a first-time customer at most other Southampton operators.

What if you have a complaint

If your first booking had a problem we did not handle well, the returning-customer code is not a substitute for a fix. Email the office with the situation; we look at the underlying issue first.

For most customers the experience is straightforward and the code is a small thank-you for booking again.
